Editure Technology, a leading national IT infrastructure, communications and networking solutions company, announces the acquisition of ICT services business, IT Intellect. This is exciting news for clients, employees and stakeholders of both Editure Technology and IT Intellect, as the new combined organisation dramatically increases the financial strength, technology portfolio and resources available to support our clients.
The acquisition of IT Intellect continues Editure’s Australian expansion plans to increase the national footprint; with an increased presence in the ICT services space in the Victorian market place. Editure will continue to look for organic and acquisitive growth into other markets in Australia.
The addition of IT Intellect will “accelerate Editure’s product and service innovation by bringing together two companies with a common vision of a modern service-oriented ICT infrastructure,” said Editure President Barrie Lambert. “Together, Editure and IT Intellect will provide a complementary set of ICT service solutions, allowing clients to more easily design, build, deploy, operate and manage their ICT assets in a secure environment with end to end support from Editure Technology”.
“This acquisition of IT Intellect is an important step forward in our goal of building an increased presence in the ICT market in Australia. We have been successfully growing our ICT service business outside the South Australian market and have been looking for an opportunity to develop that business at a much faster rate.”
Editure will develop the existing services that IT Intellect already brought to market and will work to bring the full range of Editure’s ICT offering to the Australian market place. The combined organisation offers security and communications expertise, Cisco partnership, VMware, Microsoft and now adding Citrix Gold Partner and EMC capabilities.
Mick Perri, Managing Director of IT Intellect stated, “The new organisation provides an expanded technology portfolio, increases our reach both nationally and internationally, and dramatically increases the resources available to support our clients. Our two companies complement each other; the technologies we offer and the industries where we focus make us a great fit, and the increased financial strength will fund growth, offering greater career opportunities for our staff.”
