Kynan Robinson is one of Australia’s leading experts in ICT and education and is currently working for New Era as Manager PD/ICT. For the past 10 years he has been the leading teacher for eLearning, Creativity and Innovation and Head of Music at North Fitzroy Primary School, Melbourne. During his tenure North Fitzroy Primary became a beacon school in ICT focusing on digital gaming, blogging and mobile devises. Kynan has presented at many national and international conferences, has advised on many government panels and is vice president of ICTEV. In 2012/2013 Kynan won the award for Outstanding Education Leader of the Year.
Kynan is in the process of completing his PHD in Education and is also a professional musician and composer having won many awards including a prestigious ARIA award. Kynan recently keynoted the EduTECH conference in Brisbane, Australia's largest Education Technology Conference, where he spoke on the subject of "The Modern Learner - how the learning and teaching is changing." His presentation was centered around issues central to the digital world and how they are changing the face of contemporary education, including the idea of network learning, an understanding of systems, social learning and its relevance to online social networks and online publishing.
